How It Works
SplendorBackups runs on top of your existing All-in-One WP Migration and Backup setup. Once activated, it adds a scheduling layer that triggers backup jobs through WordPress cron, tracks each run in an activity log, and reconciles backup files once a job finishes - so you always have a clear, current record of what has been backed up and when.
Prerequisites
- WordPress 5.8 or later
- PHP 7.4 or later
- All-in-One WP Migration and Backup installed and active
- WordPress cron must be working
- Enough server disk space for local backup files
Setup Instructions
- Install and activate All-in-One WP Migration and Backup.
- Install and activate SplendorBackups for AI1WM.
- In WordPress admin, open All-in-One WP Migration → Automatic Backups.
- Enable automatic backups.
- Choose backup frequency.
- Set start time.
- Choose retention count.
- Save schedule.
- Optionally click "Run backup now" to test.
- Review backup activity logs and generated backups.
